Fjeldmann did not begin in a meeting room. It began in a parental-leave group in Copenhagen with two strollers, a shared curiosity and a dream of building something from the ground up.
Who are we?
Fjeldmann is the two of us, Ahmad and Oliver. The name combines our surnames, Dehnfjeld and Kuhlmann, and reflects how the company came to be: as one shared venture.

Ahmad has seven years of experience in data, AI and automation. As a data scientist and software developer, he focuses on making complex challenges understandable and turning them into solutions that work in the real world.

Oliver Levin Dehnfjeld
Oliver has more than five years of private-sector experience developing and maintaining enterprise solutions for many thousands of users. Since the breakthrough in late 2022, he has worked at the forefront of the new generation of AI tools.
Technology only matters when it makes a difference
We start with the needs of the people who will actually use what we build. We do not create tech for tech's sake; we create it to make everyday life better for people.
The same principle shapes how we work internally. We make room for reflection, honest dialogue and a working life with space for family, humour and curiosity. We believe that clarity and care lead to better decisions, stronger partnerships and more durable solutions.
Better encounters between citizens and the public sector
We work where people, workflows and technology meet. In particular, we help public-sector organisations improve the encounter between citizens and public services – from the first point of contact to day-to-day casework.
This may mean making complex information easier to understand, developing better digital services or rethinking workflows with support from data, AI and automation. We always begin with professional expertise and the reality in which employees and citizens operate.
It started with two newborn babies
We met as new fathers in a parental-leave group in Copenhagen. Our sons were born on the same day, which made the timing feel a little too good to be entirely coincidental.
It did not take long to discover our shared passion for tech and AI. We were also carrying the same ambition: to build something meaningful from the ground up.
Our parental leave became filled with long conversations over the strollers. When everyday life resumed, we still could not let go of the dream we had talked into being. Fjeldmann is the result of that dream, and today we are building it together.
